BATTLEFIELD 6
Before the next squad match, run this checklist.
When Battlefield feels delayed, check the connection in a repeatable order. This covers home-network causes; it does not replace EA’s support or server-status guidance.
1. Measure the baseline
Select Battlefield 6 and run a Full check on the platform and connection you will use. Note idle ping, jitter, under-load latency and packet loss.
2. Remove usual culprits
- Pause cloud sync, updates, streams and large transfers.
- Prefer Ethernet; on Wi‑Fi use a nearby 5/6 GHz access point.
- Restart router and console/PC, then install pending updates.
- Check EA service status before changing router settings.
3. Check NAT safely
Use the platform’s built-in test to see whether NAT is open, moderate or strict. Follow EA and platform instructions for UPnP or forwarding; never open random ports or expose router administration.
Port advice
Ping2GG does not scan or prove that a game port is open. Keep the firewall enabled and only use exact publisher guidance.
4. Compare
Run the same check during the problem and at a quiet time. If Ping2GG is stable but Battlefield alone is affected, capture the time, region and error for EA support.
